This winter vacation, my mother brought me and my young brother to have an oversea trip. Our destination was Seoul City, Korea. This city is my mother’s favorite. She likes to watch Korean films very much. This journey was the first time we went on a trip without my father. At times, I felt upset due to our language barrier and also had to take care of my young brother.
Luckily, during the journey, lots of good people helped us with some difficult situations. And some people even helped us to bring our luggage over the high barriers in the stations. They all are our angels indeed. With their help, we had a very happy trip.
We went to an ice rink. That was the first time to skate on real ice. After several slipping and falling, I learnt to skate forward and backward. I also liked Korean food, like their barbeque, fried chicken, rice cakes and strawberries. I love their strawberries; they are very big and sweet.
During the journey, I think the most impressive thing was to meet the first snow shower in Seoul. It was amazing and beautiful to see snow flowers falling down from the sky. Suddenly, it is all white around us. My brother and I made a snowman and threw snow balls to each other. We enjoyed the snow world in the city very much. We had great fun there. Hope we can go to Seoul again next winter vacation with all my family.
